One of the educational programs that Mini Minds trusts and applies to its curriculum is the iEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), which is a “British standard” early childhood education program. The program is taught based on practical research for children aged 2-5 years old with the goal of “teaching with the child at the center”.

IEYC is designed to promote curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in a diverse and inclusive environment. It encourages a sense of wonder and exploration, nurturing children’s natural curiosity. By respecting diversity and creating a friendly environment for everyone, we promote inclusivity and help children develop comprehensively.

The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy and pedagogical method focused on early childhood and elementary education. This approach is a self-directed teaching program centered on students and constructive learning, using experiential learning methods, self-direction in relationship-oriented environments. The program is based on principles of respect, responsibility, and community relationships through exploration, discovery, and play.

The core of this philosophy assumes that children form their own personalities in the early years of development and they are gifted with “a hundred languages”, through which children can express their ideas. The purpose of the Reggio approach is to teach children how to use symbolic languages (e.g., painting, sculpture, drama) in their daily lives. This approach was developed after World War II by an educator named Loris Malaguzzi and parents in villages around the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and it is named after that city.
